Metal forceps are used manually to pull hairs out by the root, one or a few at a time. Revlon, Tweezerman, Sally Hanssen, and Maybelline are a few companies that make good affordable tweezers. __________________ Advantages:Very useful for eyebrows or other small areas on face
these are thin hairs, but have some pigmentation. __________________
Disadvantages: Some find it painful, especially in the beginning.
Difficult for large areas, not recommended
It may cause ingrown hairs.
May also cause pitting or scarring.
Some areas are difficult to do yourself.
You have to be really careful when shaping brows: one or two hairs can make a big difference in brow shape
